Contemplating a “motivator” race

Most people run half-marathons to prepare for the full marathon.

Well, I have no desire (currently) to run a full marathon. Beating a dead horse here.

I am thinking about registering for the 8.1 mile “Just a Short Run”. I hear it’s a popular race… and it will help me gauge how ready I am for 13.1 miles.

Unlike this guy, I will be wearing pants.

We’ll see what the husband says about getting up early on a Saturday to drive his crazy wife to a long race.
